Chris Kochmanski of Saline’s DesignHub, Inc. to Co-present Sales and Marketing Seminars for Ann Arbor SPARK
Saline, MI (January 10, 2012) – Chris Kochmanski of DesignHub. Inc., the Saline-based creative services and marketing firm, will co-present a three-part seminar series entitled “Small & Smart: Smart Sales and Marketing for Small, Young, and Start-up Companies” for Ann Arbor SPARK (www.AnnArborUSA.org), the regional economic development organization.
The seminars will occur every other Wednesday morning – January 18, February 1, and February 15 – from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at SPARK East, the business incubator for eastern Washtenaw County, at 215 W. Michigan Ave. in downtown Ypsilanti.
The “Small & Smart” series will cover three m’s of successfully integrated sales and marketing initiatives: markets, messages, and methods.
The January 18 session will focus on identifying targeted markets – i.e., the best-qualified prospects for a company’s products or services. The second seminar will help participants develop compelling sales and marketing messages. In the third seminar, attendees will explore the sales and marketing methods that will help them find, win, and grow profitable customer relationships most effectively and efficiently.
Kochmanski specializes in marketing for business-to-business, industrial and high-tech, professional services, and nonprofit organizations. Before joining DesignHub in 2002, he served for over 20 years in marketing communications, marketing management, and business development roles for such leading area companies as Mechanical Dynamics, Cleo Communications, Interface Systems, and ADP Network Services.

Reynolds works with small and mid-sized companies – often in conjunction with New Enterprise Forum (newenterpriseforum.org) and Great Lakes Entrepreneur’s Quest (www.gleq.org) to develop sales and marketing messages designed to reach investors and buyers. Previously Reynolds worked for over 20 years with Fortune 500 companies in sales and marketing. He originally came to the Ann Arbor area in the late 1990s to join the Chelsea Milling Co., makers of Jiffy Mix (www.jiffymix.com).
