Freedom within Structure
The University of Michigan’s department of Jazz and Contemporary Improvisation wanted a distinctive identity for their programs within the larger School of Music, Theater and Dance. We developed a logo that reflects the freedom within structure characteristic of jazz music. Initial applications of the logo included the department’s letterhead and their annual jazz festival materials.
