DesignHub Creates Marketing Materials for CAR’s Management Briefing Seminars
SALINE, MI – DesignHub, Inc., a creative services and marketing firm headquartered in Saline, has provided the Ann Arbor-based Center for Automotive Research (CAR) with a coordinated set of promotional materials for CAR’s 40th Annual Management Briefing Seminars (MBS), to be held August 1-5, 2005 at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa in Traverse City, MI.
DesignHub has created the MBS 2005 Web site and brochure, ads for print and online media, conference signage, and the session book for attendees’ day-to-day reference during the event.
DesignHub’s first task on MBS 2005 was to help develop the theme for the conference: “Strategies for Turbulent Times.” The firm created a thematic illustration and type treatment, then consistently carried through this design in all conference materials.
DesignHub also developed the “40 Years” insignia, which has been added to the Management Briefing Seminars’ logo to note the 2005 event’s special anniversary.
The Management Briefing Seminars are widely recognized as the automotive industry’s premier executive conference. This year, over 1,200 industry leaders will gather at MBS to share strategies and insights, and attend educational sessions on topics including manufacturing, changing business dynamics, low-volume production, workforce strategy, healthcare challenges, and powertrain design.
Dr. David Cole, CAR’s chairman, will moderate the three-day Automotive Briefing, focusing on “Is There Calm After the Storm?”, August 3-5.
More than 80 senior executives will address MBS 2005. Speakers include: George Dettloff, president, SKF North America; Frank Ewasyshyn, executive vice president, manufacturing, Chrysler Group; Mark Gaffney, president, AFL-CIO; Bill Kozyra, president, Continental Teves; Rodney O’Neal, president and chief operating officer, Delphi Corp.; Jim Press, president, Toyota Motor Sales, USA; Peter Rosenfeld, executive vice president, procurement and supply, Chrysler Group; John Sanderson, CEO, Siemens VDO Automotive; John Smith, group vice president, global product planning, General Motors Corp.; and Yoshimasa Yamamoto, vice president, powertrain, Nissan Motor Co.
