Saline, MI (November 18, 2002) – The Saline Celtic Festival has selected DesignHub, a strategic marketing communications firm headquartered in Saline, to design its new logo and assist with the marketing campaign for next year’s festival, scheduled for July 12, 2003.
DesignHub will help the festival’s organizers incorporate the new logo into signs, banners, shirts, hats, brochures, ads, websites, and other promotional media. DesignHub will also develop and implement an awareness-building campaign, likely using posters and direct mail, aimed at stimulating area residents’ interest in attending the event.
The Saline Celtic Festival began in 1996 as a tribute to Saline’s sister city, Brecon, Wales. “The festival now continues in celebration of that relationship, and of Saline as a great place to live and do business,” says Patrick Little, the festival’s chairperson.
The annual festival has attracted up to 8,000 attendees, and is highlighted by Celtic-themed food, music, athletics, historical enactments, children’s activities, and other entertainment. The 2003 festival will again take place in Saline’s Mill Pond Park. It will be preceded by several days of related “Saline Celtic Week” events, to be announced.
