SALINE, MI (June 13, 2005) – DesignHub, Inc., a creative services and marketing firm headquartered in Saline, has developed the logo and produced two brochures for Ann Arbor SPARK, the new public-private partnership aimed at advancing innovation-based company creation and growth in the greater Ann Arbor region.
One brochure, a six-panel full-color tri-fold, provides an overview of SPARK – its mission, goals, partner organizations, and services to innovation-focused businesses. SPARK’s five areas of service include: Business Accelerator, Early-Stage Funding, Talent Enhancement, Business Outreach, and Marketing and Events.
DesignHub has also created a four-page, full-color brochure for the Ann Arbor SPARK Business Accelerator. It details how this SPARK team of advisors works with start-ups and young companies in the Ann Arbor area to speed their growth through business planning; identifying investors, mentors, and management talent; analyzing markets and setting strategy; and budgeting, funding, and milestone planning.
The Business Accelerator was launched in 2003 as a program of the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti SmartZone, administered by the Ann Arbor IT Zone. Now, as a program of SPARK, it continues to assist high-potential growth companies in the Ann Arbor area.
DesignHub’s services to SPARK included writing, editing, design, and production of the new brochures. DesignHub works with clients on branding, Web sites, brochures, annual reports, newsletters, advertising, direct mail, packaging designs, and exhibit signage, as well as marketing strategies and plans.
Principals of DesignHub include: Karen Ragland, business manager and account executive; Ted Chesky, creative director and graphic designer; and Chris Kochmanski, marketing strategist and copywriter. The company was founded in 1999.
